Phen375, also known as Phentemine 375, are nonprescription diet pills that have been created with the goal of assisting dieters in being able to shed excess fat more quickly and easily than they would be capable of accomplishing with diet and exercise alone.  The manufacturer of this product,  RDK Global, has claimed that it works by making it easier for dieters to shrink the number of calories that they consume in a day, to increase their metabolic rates, to encourage the growth of muscle tissue, and to encourage the body to use the fat that it has already stored as energy to complete the body’s regular daily functions.

There is an official website that has been created by the manufacturer for Phen375 in order to provide consumers with more information about the product and how it should be used.  This site does provide some information, such as the promises that the manufacturer has made regarding what the product can accomplish.  It also provides testimonials from other dieters that have already tried the product, in addition to contact information so that consumers are able to contact the company with any questions, concerns, or even complaints, if necessary.  There is not only an email address, but also physical mailing addresses and telephone numbers depending on the country where the consumer resides.

The product itself was developed in a lab that was certified approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  That said, the pill itself has not been approved by that authority as it is a dietary supplement and does not require the approval for legal sale.

As of November 13, 2013, this product has changed its formulation to what it is calling “new and improved”.  It now contains calcium carbonate 36% grain, chromium (pikolinate) 12%, as well as a proprietary blend made up of L-carnitine (L-tartrate), citrus aurantium (fruit) extract (standardized for 10% synephrine), caffeine powder anhydrous, cayenne, dendrobium nobile extract, and coleus forskolii root.

The majority of these ingredients are found quite commonly in formulations for over the counter weight loss pills.  That said, not all of these ingredients have been scientifically proven to encourage faster or easier weight loss.

It should also be noted that more than one of the ingredients in this product – citrus aurantium and calcium powder anhydrous – are stimulants.  Though it is a proprietary formula so it is not possible to tell how much of these ingredients have been used, many people experience side effects when taking products with these ingredients.  Possible side effects include jitters, headache, nervousness, insomnia, and others.
